Drop-In Ministry
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm for those who wish to drop in, sit for a few hours, enjoy a meal, recharge phones and socialize. ​

Milk, cereal, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, large coffee cups, clear cups
for cold drinks, butter sticks, margarine, sliced cheese, drink mixes,
small bags of chips, puddings, jelly, large plates, napkins, forks,
spoons, 12 to 14 ounce bowls, lunch meat and proteins (kielbasa,
hamburger, ham, turkey etc., vegetables (canned and fresh), fruits,
potatoes (instant and whole). We appreciate any donations!

Community Drop-in Center
“A Place of Hope for Everyone”
Welcoming 55 to 65—or even more—guests through our doors each day is a challenge, but it’s one we face with commitment and compassion. Our mission is to build meaningful connections between people and the essential services that support their journey.
In October alone, we served 1,150 meals, along with 115 to-go meals for individuals who may be handicapped, supporting family units, or providing a lunch for someone heading to work. Every interaction is a chance to affirm someone’s worth and walk beside them toward a brighter future.
Lately, we’ve seen a growing number of senior citizens coming through our doors. In their eyes, we see fear, confusion, and disbelief—many wonderings how, after working their entire lives, they now find themselves without stable housing. We listen, we reassure, and sometimes what they need most is simply a hug and the comforting words, “It will be alright.” We must do better for our community—especially for our elders!
We invite you to make a difference. Consider spending time in the Community Drop-In Center to offer an encouraging word or bring a snack to share with our guests. Your presence matters more than you know.
