Community Drop-In Center

Where Hope Leads

Every day, individuals in our community face homelessness, hunger, trauma, addiction, and overwhelming barriers to stability. The Drop-In Center at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church exists to provide more than emergency assistance; we provide hope, dignity, and a path forward. Our center offers a safe and welcoming space where guests can access necessities, healthcare support, case management, and employment resources in one coordinated, trauma-informed environment.

We Provide: The Drop-In Center is open five days each week and serves individuals experiencing homelessness and economic hardship by providing compassionate, comprehensive support services: two meals daily, hygiene supplies, clothing, seasonal items, blankets, coats, socks, and essential supplies.

​

With support from visiting nurses and community healthcare partners, guests can: monitor chronic health conditions, receive medication and wellness support, prepare for doctor appointments, and access healthcare referrals. Through our partnership with the Free Community Health Clinic, medical professionals can visit the center and provide direct support to guests in need.

 

Many guests have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, or substance use disorders. We help connect individuals with: licensed counselors and support groups, addiction recovery services, trauma-informed case management, and ongoing emotional support.

 

Why This Work Matters: Without access to consistent support services, many individuals remain trapped in crisis, relying heavily on emergency rooms, shelters, and public systems. The Drop-In Center helps break that cycle by meeting immediate needs while addressing the underlying causes of instability. Every meal served, every medical referral completed, and every conversation rooted in compassion creates an opportunity for transformation.

How You Can Help with Supporting Community Members and the Center: The Drop-In Center relies on the generosity of community members, volunteers, churches, businesses, and grant partners to continue this vital work. Your Support Helps Provide: meals for hungry neighbors, hygiene and clothing supplies, healthcare access, mental health and addiction support, case management, and employment assistance, hope and stability for individuals in crisis.

You Can Also: make a financial contribution, donate clothing and hygiene products, volunteer your time, partner with us as a community organization or business, sponsor meals, or seasonal supply drives. Together, we can restore HOPE! At the Drop-In Center, we believe every person deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to build a better future. With your support, we can continue walking alongside our neighbors as they move from crisis toward healing, stability, and independence.
