Drop-In Ministry
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm for those who wish to drop in, sit for a few hours, enjoy a meal, recharge phones and socialize. ​

Milk, cereal, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, large coffee cups, and clear cups
for cold drinks, butter sticks, margarine, sliced cheese, drink mixes,
small bags of chips, puddings, jelly, large plates, napkins, forks,
spoons, 12 to 14 ounce bowls, lunch meat and proteins (kielbasa,
hamburger, ham, etc.) fruits, instant potatoes. We can always use gift cards. We appreciate any donations!

Community Drop-in Center
“A Place of Hope for Everyone”
As we build meaningful connections between the people we serve and the essential services they need, we are honored to walk beside them on their journey of hope. Every day, we witness resilience, courage, and quiet strength. Our compassion and commitment to meeting people where they are isn’t just our mission; it’s what moves us to keep showing up.

Serving more than 50 people each day is no small task, but it is a responsibility we welcome with gratitude. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve, to listen, and to offer dignity and care to each person who walks through our doors.
In November, we served 897 meals, along with 116 to-go meals for individuals facing mobility challenges, supporting family units, or grabbing lunch on the way to work. Each meal represents more than nourishment; it’s a reminder that someone is seen, valued, and not alone. Every interaction is a chance to affirm worth and to walk together toward a brighter future.
We are seeing a growing number of senior citizens coming through our doors. In their eyes, we see fear, confusion, and disbelief. Many quietly ask themselves how, after a lifetime of hard work, they have ended up here. We listen. We reassure. And sometimes, what they need most isn’t a resource or a referral, but a hug, a kind word, and the reassurance that they still matter. Together, we must do better for our neighbors in need.
You can be part of this work of compassion. We invite you to spend time at the Community Drop-In Center, offer an encouraging word, share a snack, or simply sit and listen. Your presence, your kindness, and your willingness to care can mean more than you’ll ever know.
